Dec 2021 - The OG Mint
Slow mint that eventually sold out in 4 days.
Jan 2022 – Nov 2022
The $ZION ecosystem was created and partners joined, but soon died after the founders were caught profiting from partner token purchases rather than injecting funds into the liquidity pool. Cartel Kittens were airdropped, followed by a second SOL mint; Mutant Cats. Failed attempts at launching a raffle and auction house followed later in the year until eventually the founders lost interest and departed with the funds.
Dec 2022
Old founders handed over the keys to the project. Friszman officially de-rugged the OG collection and formed the Cartel Council.
Jan 2023
Project entirely rebranded and $ZION token dissolved. $Cartel Coin utility token created in its place. Engage 2 Earn launched to reward holder loyalty and engagement. Incinerator launched so holders can burn their Kittens and Mutants for $CC token.
Feb 2023 - Nov 2023
Launched a series of $CC utilities; Degen Loot Run, Cartel Mission, and PFP staking. Entire collection Reborn with next level artwork. Collection migrated to the pNFT Metaplex standard to enforce royalties. Staking for $CC introduced.
Dec 2023 - Los Reyes Mint
First collection drop since de-rugging in 2022. 1,111 Cats from the Los Reyes Cartel.
